The Cypress Philharmonic, which is possibly the fastest growing symphony orchestra in America, continues to wow Cypress-area residents with its rich sound and daring programming. Giving its first concert in February 2013 with about 40 players, the CyPhil grew 50% by September 2013, when it filled the Berry Center stage to deliver a sensitive and fervent rendition of Dvorak’s Ninth Symphony. The program, which carries themes of passion and renewal, will also feature Rimsky-Korsakov’s Russian Easter Overture, Bizet’s Carmen Suites and Copland’s Appalachian Spring.
