Businesses opened and construction progressed at several mixed-use and retail developments in master-planned communities such as Fairfield, Bridgeland and Towne Lake, including the Fairfield Town Center, the Boardwalk at Towne Lake and the Lakeland Village Center.
A variety of tenants opened in all three developments in 2017. Lakeland Village Center welcomed Pizza Cucinova, Pinot’s Palette and Le Macaron. Tenants that opened in Fairfield included Russo’s New York Pizzeria, Sub Zero Ice Cream and Dressbarn. New tenants at the Boardwalk included Beau Kisses, Burgerim and The Cheese Bar.
More tenants have already been announced for the Lakeland Village Center and the Towne Lake Boardwalk. Specializing in Swiss cuisine, Edelweiss Stube is expected to open early 2018 at the Lakeland Village Center, along with Chilosos Taco House. L3 Craft Coffee will open in February. Officials hope to fill the center’s remaining vacancies by the end of 2018.
The Towne Lake Boardwalk will soon break ground on a new building near a recently opened parking lot. Although officials are not prepared to announce tenants that have been confirmed for the new building, other businesses such as Torchy’s Tacos and World of Beer are expected to open in the spring.
